In July 2007, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved aggressive new reduction targets for emissions of Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) and Diesel Particulate Matter (PM) from off-road equipment. Most off-road machines can be converted to meet the new regulations. Four conversion options are available: Emissions Repower, Emissions Upgrade Groups, Diesel Particulate Filters and Diesel Oxidation Catalysts.
